The European Movement International strongly condemns the plans of the Hungarian government to build a wall at the Hungarian-Serbian border, which would mark a further step backwards in Hungary's increasingly xenophobic and isolationist stance and sends a worrying political message to its neighbours.
The European Movement International welcomes the reform proposals to complete the Economic and Monetary Union, as laid out in the ‘Five Presidents Report’, and calls on the Heads of European Governments to take the first steps towards a comprehensive reform of the EMU at the upcoming Council summit.
