At its Federal Assembly 2015, which took place on Friday 24 April and Saturday 25 April, the European Movement International adopted a series of new political resolutions. A resolution to recognise the Armenian Genocide was passed by unanimity following fierce discussions, and other votes were held on topics including the Freedom of Movement and the Eastern Partnership.
On Friday 24 April members and friends of the European Movement International attended a special event marking 40 years since the signing of the Helsinki Final Act. As a result of this Act the Conference on Security and Co-operation in Europe was created, which later became the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).
