What we are planning in Rome

Forum on the Future of Europe
On 25 March from 8.45-12.00 we will hold a political forum together with our members UEF and JEF and for our members, gathering personalities from politics, civil society and culture. We want to create an open space where our members can share ideas about the future of Europe. The discussion will feature personalities from politics, civil society, academia and intellectuals and it will function as a forum for debate on the direction our Union should take. The forum will take place at the Centro Congressi Roma Eventi (Piazza di Spagna), Via Alibert 5A, 00187 Rome.

March for Europe
The debate will be followed by the March for Europe at 13.00, which we invite you to join as a symbolic act of public support and action for the European ideal, under so much challenge today. We all acknowledge our Union is not perfect, there is plenty the EU does we disagree with. This march is aimed at celebrating the values that underpin the European ideal and call for their defence and for their re-enforcement. We have the whole year to be constructive critics of the EU’s shortcomings. We want to take just one day to say that the idea of Europe is worth marching for.

Programme for the March for Europe
11.00 – 13.00 GATHERING AT DEPARTURE POINT – Piazza Bocca della Verità
13.00 – 14.00 OPENING SPEECHES
14.00 – 14.30 MARCH
14.30 END OF THE MARCH – Colosseum – Constantine Arch
As of 14.30 FESTIVITIES
