Weekly European Agenda 27/10/2025

No parliamentary meetings are scheduled in Brussels, as the week is set aside for external parliamentary activities. On Monday and Tuesday, the Agriculture and Fisheries Council will gather ministers to reach a political agreement on next year’s fishing opportunities in the Baltic Sea. On Tuesday, President Ursula von der Leyen will participate in a meeting with the Nordic Leaders and the SG of the Nordic Council of Ministers, in Stockholm.

European Parliament

Council of Ministers

On Monday and Tuesday, the Agriculture and Fisheries Council will gather ministers to reach a political agreement on next year’s fishing opportunities in the Baltic Sea. 

European Commission and High Representative

On Monday, Commissioner Cristophe Hansen will meet with Taras Andriyovych Kachka, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine and Jacob Jensen, Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries of Denmark, in Luxembourg. On the same day, President Ursula von der Leyen will participate in a working dinner with business leaders, hosted by Ulf Kristersson, Prime Minister of Sweden, in Stockholm. On Tuesday, Commissioner Andrius Kubilius will receive Anders Fogh Rasmussen, former Secretary General of NATO and Prime Minister of Denmark, in Brussels.
