Europe is going to meet an exciting time. The European Parliament elections 2019 will be held from 23 to 26 May. 400 million Europeans will vote for their representatives.

The European Movement Norway therefore asks “What’s now, Europe?” and analyze the results of the elections and what challenges Europe is facing with, among other things. Brexit, the German-French axis, right-wing populist forces and the Eurosceptics. And what about Norway?

In the discussion panel you will meet:

– Heidi Nordby Lunde, head of the European Movement Norway and Parliamentary Representative for Oslo Conservatives

– Espen Barth Eide, parliamentary representative for the Oslo Labor Party

– Astrid Sverresdotter Dypvik, journalist and historian

– Guri Rosén, associate professor at OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University

The debate leader is Eirik Bergesen, political commentator and satirist.

The European debate is a collaboration between the European Movement Oslo and the Norwegian-German Company / Deutsch-Norwegische Gesellshaft.
