Conference “New Developments in the Study of EU External Action”
On 5 October, the Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies at the College of Europe, Bruges will hold a conference to discuss new developments in the study of the European Union’s foreign affairs.
The conference aims to take stock of the main achievements in academic literature on EU external action, discuss current trends and explore further research avenues. Prominent scholars will present their approaches and illustrate how these can be applied to case studies of EU external affairs.
The event will be opened by a keynote speech on ‘What kind of power is the EU in international affairs?” by Professor Ian Manners, University of Copenhagen.
