Activities of the President
Dear EMI Members,
First of all, I would like to wish you all a wonderful New Year and take this opportunity to share with you my activities over the past few months as European Movement International President.
2019 is already promising to be a pivotal year for Europe and for the European Movement. The European elections in May will be the political moment that will define Europe for the coming years.
All our activities are designed as opportunity to demonstrate the European Movement’s diversity, strength and commitment in the European ideals, and our role as an interlocutor between the EU and civil society. Together, we can offer our fellow citizens the chance to be part of European democracy and have their voice heard. And I will work hard with you to achieve this result.
Thank you all for your participation and support throughout the past few months. These events – and our Movement as a whole – would not have been successful without your engagement and exchanges we had.
I would be grateful if you use the opportunity to drop me an e-mail sharing your thoughts on where you think my focus in EMI should lie in the coming months.
