The project “Digital Community” kicks off in Dnipro
On April 4 at the Dnipro City Council the project “Digital Community” was presented. The goal of the project is to employ digital tools to strengthen the interaction of state authorities and local government with representative associations of co-owners of multi-apartment buildings and housing construction cooperatives (condominiums) as well as the bodies of self-organization of the population (BSP).
The project will be implemented by the public association “Local Democracy Agency of the Dnipropetrovsk Region” in cooperation with the Department of Local Self-Government, Internal and Information Policy of the Dnipro City Council.
A representative of the city hall commented that “Such joint work with public organizations prove that the city supports the activities of associations that work for its development”.
Vladislav Makaretz, a specialist involved in the project outlined the initiatives which will be rolled out: ‘training sessions will take place, during which the heads and accountants of condominiums will be taught to work with computers and various electronic services. In particular, they will learn how to use electronic signature, submit electronic reporting, and more”. He added that such training measures will be especially useful for those who are unfamiliar with digital processes, such as the elderly.
Anzhelika Pylypenko, Director of the Local Democracy Agency of Dnipropetrovsk Region, said that the training will begin immediately after the formation of the groups. You can apply to the organization at: prosp. O. Polya, 2, office number 132.
