Ministers of the Foreign Affairs Council (Trade) will meet alongside the 14th WTO Ministerial Conference (MC14) in Yaoundé, Cameroon. Discussions will focus on shaping the future of the multilateral trading system, including discussions on WTO reforms to modernize its architecture and processes. Ministers are set to approve Council conclusions and the adoption of the EU’s position to endorse legally binding decisions from MC14, ensuring a unified EU stance in global trade negotiations.

The EESC Workers’ Group and the S&D Group in the European Parliament will hold a conference on geopolitical instability, defence spending, and workers’ rights, in Brussels.
