NOTE: Registration for this event will close on Thursday 14 November.
As part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, this event aims to address the initiatives and challenges for the new EU leadership in tackling gender-based violence, promoting gender equality and in safeguarding women’s safety and rights.
The panel discussion will also delve into protecting girls and women from AI abuse online, taking into account Microsoft’s white paper “Protecting the public from abusive AI-generated content”.
Bringing together representatives from the EU institutions, the private sector and organised civil society, these discussions will tackle the troubling rise in anti-gender discourse and ideology, marked by a deliberate propagation of regressive ideologies and gender stereotypes, and the solutions and necessary measures to advance equality and build strong, diverse alliances.
