(French, 1925): Member of the European Parliament (1979-1981), Minister of Finance (1981-1983) and President of the European Commission (1985-1995). Founder and President of “Notre Europe” (since 1996). In 2015 he was bestowed an honour of Honorary Citizen of Europe for extraordinary work to promote European cooperation.

WHO WE ARE - OUR TEAM
The European Movement International employs a professional secretariat that is based in Brussels. The secretariat works on a daily basis to implement the decisions of the Members Council, Federal Assembly and board of the European Movement International, under the direction of the Secretary General.
