He is currently a Member of Appointment Advisory Committee of the European Investment Bank and Chairman of the Pan-European Commission on Health and Sustainable Development convened by the World Health Organization (WHO).

The secretariat works on a daily basis to implement the decisions of the Members Council, Federal Assembly and board of the European Movement International, under the direction of the Secretary General.
