At the European Movement International, campaigning is central to our mission. We defend democracy, protect rights, and bring Europeans together behind a common vision for the future.

Our campaigns mix bold ideas with action – from street activations to high-impact digital outreach – to inspire participation, influence policymakers, and put key issues on the agenda. Whether mobilising voters, standing with citizens where democracy is under threat, or amplifying Europe’s role as a force for peace, our goal is clear: turn values into action and create real change across the continent.

Protect What Matters – Europe Day 2025

Europe Day is a moment to unite. At a time of rising costs, uncertain futures, and threats to our freedoms, we came together to show that our strength lies in solidarity.

The European Movement International mobilised a united front for peace, democracy, and the values that bind us as Europeans. The campaign reached over 7 million impressions across platforms, amplifying the call to defend our shared future.

European Elections 2024

Our European Union elections campaign was one of the most ambitious efforts in our history.

Launched in 12 countries across the continent, we reached 20.6 million people and generated over 40 million digital impressions through a powerful mix of street-level advertising and digital platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Google Ads.

Every message was shaped by data-driven analysis, audience segmentation, and precise targeting to make sure it resonated with key constituencies.

By sparking conversations about rights, freedoms, and democracy, we turned the elections into a moment of mobilisation – reminding citizens that their vote is their voice in shaping Europe’s future.

Hungarians Deserve Better

Through this campaign, the European Movement International stood in solidarity with the Hungarian people against corruption, democratic backsliding, and foreign influence. We highlighted the erosion of media freedom, judicial independence, and civil society under Prime Minister Orbán, as well as Hungary’s alignment with Russian interests.

To make our message impossible to ignore, we brought members from across Europe to Budapest and placed the campaign’s visual on a truck, driving it through the city to reach citizens directly. Our aim was clear: to affirm that the Hungarian people are not alone in their fight for democracy, freedom, and the European future they aspire to.

Support Ukraine, Defend Europe

During a pivotal European Council summit on Ukraine aid, the European Movement International launched a high-visibility guerrilla projection on the European Commission’s façade to send a clear message to EU leaders at a decisive moment.

This action was part of a wider campaign to secure continued European support for Ukraine. The animated video was developed in-house, executed on-site before the summit, and amplified with geo-targeted digital ads directed at policymakers and stakeholders in Brussels – ensuring our call for solidarity could not be ignored.

Together for Europe

Imagine a future where all of Europe is safe, democratic, and free. That vision drove our campaign calling on citizens to support European security, defend democracy, and stand with Ukraine.

The campaign was promoted in 6 countries and languages to extend its reach beyond our core audience and engage more moderate individuals . By combining targeted messaging with deliberate cross-border outreach, we significantly expanded the visibility of pro-European and pro-democratic messages and reached over 6 million people across Europe.

Social Media Campaigns With Impact

At the heart of our communications is a simple approach: if you want to connect with people, you have to meet them where they are. We use a strategic approach to reach a wider audience, moving beyond our echo chamber to engage new communities. This method has allowed us to create campaigns that don’t just broadcast a message but build strong communities and generate widespread support for a more democratic and united Europe by reaching over 5 million people.
