No parliamentary meetings are scheduled in Brussels, as the week is set aside for external parliamentary activities. On Wednesday, EU Commissioners will gather in Brussels to unveil a joint communication on a new strategic EU-India agenda. On Thursday, ministers in the Environment Council will seek to reach an agreement on a proposal to amend the European climate law to establish a binding intermediate climate target for 2040.
European Parliament

Council of Ministers
On Monday and Tuesday, the Danish Presidency will host the Informal meeting of health ministers. On Tuesday, ministers in the General Affairs Council will start preparations for the European Council meeting of 23-24 October by discussing an annotated draft agenda.
European Commission and High Representative
On Monday, Commissioner Marta Kos will meet with Neva Grasic, State secretary for European affairs of Ljubljana, and Stephen Doughty, Minister of State for Europe and North America of the United Kingdom, in Brussels. On Tuesday, Commissioner Glenn Micallef will participate in Youth Policy Dialogue on the Action Plan against Cyberbullying, in Brussels. On Thursday, Commissioner Dan Jørgensen will hold a videoconference call with Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud, Minister for Energy of Saudi Arabia.
