About

On election night, Sunday, 9 June 2024, the Info Hub (Esplanade Solidarność 1980, B-1050 Brussels) provided a space for interested citizens, stakeholders and staff to watch the Election results in real time, through the live feed from the programme and content distributed in the EP’s Hemicycle.

As part of election night, the European Movement International and the European Parliament co-hosted a panel debate entitled “Europe Is Voting! European Civil Society Stakeholder Reactions to the EP Elections.

Bringing together representatives from organised civil society, social partners, the youth and the environmental movement, the panel aimed to:

  • highlight the importance of voting in the European elections;
  • discuss the work done by a wide variety of stakeholders to encourage citizens to use their vote;
  • debate how the European elections results will impact civil society and citizens.
