Between June and December of this year, seven themed world cafes will take place about possible futures of Europe. The meetings are organized by EBN, the Representation of the European Commission in the Netherlands and the Liason Office of the European Parliament in collaboration with many other parties.
Participants in the world cafes are people with an active interest in the urgent social, economic and cultural transitions, and Europe’s supporting role in accelerating them.
The purpose of the meetings is:
- a joint exploration of the practical possibilities to accelerate major urgent transitions. Identifying interfaces with European agendas.
- Highlighting the specific, concrete roles of old and new civil networks, initiatives and organizations and of knowledge centres
- Producing and implementing practical suggestions and increasing creative collaboration.
